It is normal to have lots of questions when you are booking suppliers to be a part of your big day, especially as your wedding is abroad. Here are a list of the questions I get asked most, but if there is anything on here that isn’t covered, please feel free to ask.

Bookings and deposits

I take a low deposit to secure your space which is transferable but non-refundable. If you change dates there is a 20€ admin fee.

When do I need to book my steam by?

Brides tend to book 6- 18 months in advance due to me been the only mobile steamer on the island. The popular dates get booked up quickly (UK bank holidays, last two weeks of May, first three weeks of June, first two weeks of September) Some frantic brides have called me on the day of their wedding, which is a little panicky for both of us! You do not need to decide exactly what needs steaming at this point, it is just to secure a space for you.

Where will the steaming take place?

I will visit your accommodation. If moving to a different venue the night prior to the wedding, I recommend your steam takes place there to avoid any re-creasing as it would need to be transported.

Do I need to be at my steam?

It is totally your choice. You are welcome to stay with me or go and chill at the pool! If you are going to be at another appointment, it is great if I can meet you at the start of the steam to discuss the garments, then have an allocated person for me to show on completion.

Can I leave my dress in the dress box/suitcase until my steam?

YES! It is far safer from prying eyes for it to be packed away until my arrival. There is no need to hang it out beforehand, plus it makes it easier for you if you are moving location to keep it packed.

How long before the wedding do you recommend the steaming to take place?

Between 1 - 4 days prior. If you are moving accommodation the day before your wedding, it will need to be steamed once you are at your new location.

Can the steam take place on my wedding day?

I normally recommend at least one day before as there is always so much happening on the day with hair, make up and photographers. But it can also be a possibility, depending on the size of your order and it is when you would prefer.

What happens if I arrive and the dress/outfit does not need steaming?

We will be able to look at your items once they are have arrived in Ibiza to see how well they have travelled. If they do not require steaming, you are able to deduct garments from your original booking, providing that the minimum spend of 150€ is met.

Can I add items to our booking once in Ibiza?

Yes, of course. You are welcome to add garments to your original booking or even on the day of your steam.

The room is really small and there is nowhere to hang my dress!

Don’t worry, I will find somewhere! There is always a high place for the gown to be hung even in the tiniest of hotel rooms.

I don’t want my partner to see it

Your dress, train and veil will be shrouded so it is not visible (please see below)

What happens to the outfits after they have be steamed?

Once steamed I will shroud your dress, train and veil on your chosen hanger. The best thing I find for this is a large cotton sheet from your maid or villa (or some brides bring their own like a double duvet cover) Please bring your zip up dress bag as often this can be cut across the bottom, leaving just the train of the dress to be covered in the cotton sheeting - if your dress is not too full of course.

How do I make a booking?
